Mach Xtreme Technology Announces mSATA MXSSD2MMSK-M Series mini-SSD
Taipei, Taiwan—July 27, 2012— Mach Xtreme Technology Inc., a worldwide leader in flash storage solutions that deliver superior performance and reliability for industrial PC applications, today rolled out mSATA MXSSD2MMSK-M Series mini-SSD that combines an advanced integrated SATA controller and NAND flash in one ultra-compact disk.
Mach Xtreme MXSSD2MMSK-M drive is particularly beneficial for manufacturers planning to incorporate extreme small form factor SSDs (29.85mm x 26.80mm x 3.50mm) in portable PC devices, where space utilization and cost minimization are key concerns. The MX mSATA mini-SSD is fully compliant with JEDEC MO-300B standard and thus is widely used in portable and desktop computers, point of sale (POS), handheld device, gaming machine, network equipment, notebook, thin-client and set-top boxes (STB). These modules are an ideal replacement for traditional hard disk drives. This series gives several advantages over rotating magnetic media with significantly lower power consumption, no vibration and show issues in harsh environments and less weight for mobile, handheld devices and servers. It comes in mSATA interface in mini-SSD size.
The MXSSD2MMSK-M drive delivers best-in-class read and write speeds clocking in at up to 210MB/s read and 100MB/s write along and superior durability (1.5 million MTBF) compared to traditional drives. Available in capacities of 32GB and 64GB, and comes backed with outstanding after-sales service.
